Diwali or Deepavali is one of the oldest and religious festivals of Hindu religion which is celebrated once in a year. This festival was first celebrated about 3000 years ago during the Ramayana (2nd Holy book of Hindu religion after Mahabharata) times. Diwali was started in the Ayodhya (Birth Place of Lord Rama) and it is celebrated for come-back of Lord’s Rama in Ayodhya after 14 years long Exile in Ayodhya. So peoples decorated their house with candles of ghee around the house and worship the God.
